How it works

1
Complete your Online Health Assessment

Your answers tell us which hormones to test, and whether or not your symptoms suggest a nutritional deficiency. We'll recommend personalised next steps.

2
Add-on at checkout

Add the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test alongside your selected At-Home Hormone and Fertility Test. Your deficiency markers are tested from the same blood sample, so there's no second kit and no extra blood sample.

3
Get your results

Within 6 working days of your sample arriving at the lab, your deficiency results appear alongside your hormones in a single Hertility report, reviewed together by the same doctor.

3
Onward care

Our Specialist Nurses can help you understand your results, talk through general nutrition and lifestyle advice that aligns with public health guidance, and explain what your next steps might look like. Where results need further investigation, diagnosis or prescribing, they'll connect you with the right clinician through Hertility.

Got questions?

Got questions?

What is your refund policy?

We can only offer refunds for At-Home Hormone and Fertility Tests orders placed within 30 days of the refund request. Note that orders already dispatched are eligible for a partial refund only, which is the amount you paid minus the £25 fulfillment fee. If there is an issue with your blood sample, we will cover the cost of the At-Home Hormone and Fertility Tests. Read our full refund policy

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes, the package is discreet. Your order will arrive in a grey postage bag with a return address for Inuvi, the accredited lab we use. There is no mention of Hertility on the outer packaging. However, the blood collection kit itself is branded.

How does the test work?

Hertility’s tests work in four simple steps and involve the same processes as those done at a clinic or by a doctor, except that you complete each step from the comfort of your home First, you complete our Online Health Assessment detailing your goals, symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. The Online Health Assessment screens you for up to 18 conditions (like PMOS, formerly PCOS). This allows us to build a personalised hormone panel tailored to you. Next, your at-home blood collection kit will be sent via next-day delivery* (applicable to orders submitted before 2pm, excluding Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and the Highlands). You will then collect a small finger-prick sample, with the option to access a free "Get It Right" Blood Draw Call, a live video call with one of our Customer Care Specialists to assist you throughout the process. Your sample is then analysed in our UKAS-accredited lab. Within 6 days, a doctor-written report along with a personalised care plan will be provided directly in your app.

What else do I get alongside my blood results?

Your results are never just a set of numbers. Alongside them you receive a doctor-written report explaining what your results mean for you, a personalised clinical care plan with recommended next steps. With the Advanced Hormone and Fertility Test, a 30-minute 1-on-1 Clinical Results Review Call is included with an in-house expert to answer your questions and guide you. Your assessment also screens for up to 18 conditions, and if you need further support, we offer onward care pathways and referrals to trusted clinics.

Do I need to buy a Hormone and Fertility Test to get a Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test?

No. If you've already completed a Hormone and Fertility Test, you can order the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test as a standalone test for £89. This includes a new blood collection kit and requires a fresh blood sample. Your results will be reviewed by a Hertility doctor and added to your existing Hertility report alongside your hormone results. If you haven't tested yet, you can add it to your Hormone and Fertility Test order for £49. Your deficiency markers are then tested from the same blood sample as your hormones, with no second kit and no extra blood sample needed. To get started, complete our free Online Health Assessment and we'll tell you which test is right for you.

How much is a Hertility test?

Starting from £199 for the Hormone and Fertility Test, or £249 for the Advanced Hormone and Fertility Test. Both use the same blood collection kit and give you the same doctor-written report and clinical care plan, analysed by our UKAS-accredited lab. The difference is the Clinical Results Review Call, a 30-minute call with a Specialist Nurse to talk through your results. The Advanced Hormone and Fertility Test includes this call. The Hormone and Fertility Test does not, making it a good fit if you're confident reading clinical results on your own. You can add the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test to any Hormone and Fertility Test order for £49. Your four deficiency markers are tested from the same blood sample as your hormones, with no second kit or extra blood sample needed. If you've already completed a hormone test, you can still order the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test as a standalone test for £89.

What is included in my test?

Hertility's at-home tests measure up to 10 hormones including AMH, FSH, LH, oestradiol (E2), prolactin (PRL), testosterone, DHEAS, SHBG, TSH and thyroxine (T4). The Standard Hormone Test does not include AMH. Not everyone is tested for all 10 hormones; you're only tested where there's a clinical indication. Which test you're recommended, and your exact panel, is based on your Online Health Assessment answers and shown to you before you buy. When you add the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test to your order, four deficiency markers are tested from the same blood sample as your hormones: vitamin D, active vitamin B12, folate and ferritin (iron levels). No second kit, no extra blood sample. Your deficiency results are reviewed by a Hertility doctor alongside your hormone results in one integrated report, with personalised next steps in your care plan. If you have any questions, please get in touch at info@hertilityhealth.com.

How to use Hertility tests?

If you're worried about how to do a Hertility test, we have options tailored to your needs. You can choose to take your test without assistance following the directions included within your Blood Collection Kit and using our straightforward finger prick method. You can choose to book a free "Get It Right" Blood Draw Call. Our Customer Care team is here to support you with a prearranged video or telephone call, offering helpful tips and guidance to ensure your blood draw goes smoothly. You can choose to book a nurse visit. This service is available to book through your Health Hub for £79. The equipment will be brought by the healthcare professional, so we will not send a kit to you.

What will my test results show?

Hertility's At-Home Hormone and Fertility Tests screen for up to 18 conditions, providing clarity on your reproductive health, the potential causes of your symptoms, and how your body is functioning. Depending on the hormones in your personalised panel, your results provide insight into your egg count (ovarian reserve) and your thyroid function. They can flag hormone patterns associated with conditions like PMOS (formerly PCOS), thyroid disorders, perimenopause, or menopause, while helping you understand symptoms such as irregular or painful periods, acne, excess hair, low energy, or mood changes. While a hormone test cannot confirm your fertility or predict exactly when you'll conceive, it does provide clinically reviewed insights into your hormonal health, which your doctor-written report then puts into context for you. If you've added the Vitamin and Iron Deficiency Test to your order, your results will also show your levels of vitamin D, active vitamin B12, folate and ferritin (iron levels). These four markers are closely linked to your energy, mood and cycle health, and are among the most common and treatable contributors to symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, hair thinning and heavy periods. Both are reviewed by the same doctor and appear together in one integrated Hertility report, giving you a fuller picture of what may be driving how you feel.

How accurate are Hertility at-home tests?

Our tests are highly accurate and backed by rigorous accreditation. Our partner lab is UKAS accredited to ISO 15189:2022 (medical laboratories) for both capillary and venous blood sampling; the first UK lab to reach this level, and UK leaders in capillary testing. Our hormone and fertility test kits are CE-marked for IVDR use and MHRA registered, and we're also CQC registered for telemedicine services. Our partner laboratory holds further certifications for quality management (ISO 9001:2015) and information security (ISO 27001:2022), so you can trust that every result is accurate, reliable, and handled securely.

What is a Clinical Results Review Call?

A 30-minute call with a clinical expert about your results from the comfort of your home. Our in-house expert can walk you through your results, answer any questions and give you guidance on next steps. This call isn't included with the Hormone and Fertility Test, if you'd like expert support talking through your results, choose the Advanced Hormone and Fertility Test.

Can a professional explain my results to me?

Yes. A Clinical Results Review Call gives you access to a Specialist Nurse who can walk you through your results, answer your questions and guide you on next steps. This call isn’t included with the Hormone and Fertility Test, to get it, choose the Advanced Hormone and Fertility Test instead.

Do you offer support while collecting the sample?

Yes you could book yourself onto our free "Get It Right" Blood Draw Call, a live video call with one of our Customer Care Specialists. It's included at no extra cost with every Hertility at- home test kit and takes around 15–20 minutes, so there's no need to rush. They'll walk you through each step in real time, share personalised tips based on how you're getting on, and help you feel confident along the way. It's especially handy if this is your first at-home test, you've had trouble bleeding before, you tend to get cold hands or are a bit anxious about the process. You can schedule your free call here, and if none of the available slots work for you, just email info@hertilityhealth.com and we'll be able to support you.

I don't want to prick myself. Can I get my blood taken by a professional?

Yes. We offer a Nurse Home Visit service, where a healthcare professional trained in phlebotomy collects a venous sample for you. Book it through your Health Hub or Hertility app for £79 (UK) or €99 (Ireland). UK appointments bring their own equipment; Irish appointments are sent a professional kit that shouldn’t be opened by the customer. Please note we can only accept venous samples from Hertility-accredited healthcare professionals, samples drawn by anyone else will be rejected by the lab.

Do you have more questions? We're here to help.
